June Sarpong returns to her roots in the world's most welcoming country
Ghanaian-British broadcaster June Sarpong came home, exploring Accra in a Tina Atiemo dress from Elle Lokko — and naturally, her first stop was Elle Lokko. From bold prints to locally made designs, she explored the concept store that’s fast becoming the city’s fashion heartbeat.
June’s day in Accra was a masterclass in creativity: she visited Studio One Eighty Nine, browsed luxury at Viva Boutique, and tasted the city’s signature flavours from vibrant street markets to inventive local restaurants. She also connected with Ghana’s heritage at Elmina Slave Castle and Manhyia Palace, marrying history with modern city life.
For June, Accra is a city alive with energy, entrepreneurship, and style — and Elle Lokko is right at the centre of it all.
