At Elle Lokko, we want your order to arrive safely and on time. This Shipping Policy outlines how we handle order processing, shipping methods, and delivery timelines.

What does our Shipping Policy cover?

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed within 2–3 business days after payment is confirmed.

  • Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

  • Custom, pre-order, or made-to-measure items may require longer processing times. Any extended lead times will be noted on the product page.

2. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order size, and shipping method selected.

  • Free local delivery or promotional shipping offers (when applicable) will be clearly indicated.

3. Domestic Shipping (Ghana)

  • We deliver across Accra and major Ghanaian cities through trusted courier services.

  • Standard delivery: 2–5 business days.

  • Express delivery (Accra only): same-day or next-day delivery, where available.

4. International Shipping

  • Elle Lokko ships worldwide via EMS, DHL, FedEx, UPS, or equivalent carriers.

  • Delivery timelines vary depending on destination, typically 7–14 business days.

  • International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or local charges. These are the responsibility of the recipient.

5. Service Interruptions

  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by external factors such as public holidays, strikes, extreme weather, or customs delays.

  • Elle Lokko is not responsible for delays outside our control but will do our best to keep you informed.

6. Order Tracking

  • Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking details.

  • For local deliveries, tracking may be limited depending on courier services.

RETURN & EXCHANGES POLICY

At Elle Lokko, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every item we curate and create. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our returns and exchanges guidelines below.

What does our Return & Exchanges Policy cover?

1. Eligibility

  • In-store purchases: Returns and exchanges must be made within 48 hours of purchase.

  • Online & international orders: Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition with tags and packaging intact.

  • Certain items are final sale and cannot be returned (see Section 4).

2. Process

  • To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at elle@lokkohouse.com with your order number and reason for return.

  • Once approved, you will receive return instructions.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was damaged or incorrect.

3. Refunds

  • In-store purchases: Refunds are not issued to the original payment method. Customers may choose between store credit or an exchange within the 48-hour return window for approved returns. Store credit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

  • Online & international orders: Refunds will be processed to your original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Please allow up to 10 business days for refunds to reflect in your account.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error).

4. Non-Returnable Items

 

The following items are considered final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Intimates, swimwear, and body products.

  • Gift cards and digital products.

  • Custom-made or made-to-measure items.

  • Sale or clearance items marked “final sale.”

5. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.

  • If the requested item is unavailable, you may choose a refund (online orders only) or store credit.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos.

  • We will arrange a replacement, exchange, or full refund at no additional cost to you.

7. International Returns

  • International customers are responsible for shipping costs, duties, and taxes on returns.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as Elle Lokko is not responsible for items lost in transit.
