Issue 3 Cover Shoot

Elle Lokko became the backdrop for a global fashion moment when Nataal Magazine chose our Osu space to host the cover shoot for Issue 3. Led by British-Ghanaian hair artist Charlotte Mensah and Nigerian photographer Stephen Tayo, the shoot brought together an incredible line-up of local talent — from stylists Emmanuel Affedzie and Jude Lartey to producer Ekow Barnes, models Herbert and Welbert Darko, and mentees from Mensah’s Love Naa Densua Foundation.

The result was Head Start, one of six striking covers of Nataal Issue 3, styled around bold simplicity, graphic form, and movement. For Elle Lokko, it was a proud collaboration: hosting a project that fused global vision with Accra’s creative energy, and putting our space directly onto the pages of an international style magazine.
