Enterprise Africa Summit | Fashion Africa Voices

Updated: Dec 23, 2022

It was an absolute honour to be a speaker at the Enterprise Africa Summit, held at the British Council, Accra on March 22nd, 2017. As a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and innovation, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to share my insights and experiences with a room full of like-minded individuals.

In partnership with British Council Ghana and Hatch Africa, Africa Fashion Guide and Fashion Forum Africa came together to bring us Fashion Africa Voices, a series of panel discussions and interviews focused on business, entrepreneurship and sustainability within Africa's fashion and textile industry industry.

Speaking on the "Fashion and Finance" panel moderated by Makeba Boateng alongside Nana Kwame Adusei of Charlotte Prive, Claudia Lumor of Glitz Africa and others colleagues of the fashion industry, I had the chance to delve into my experience in the Ghanaian retail space, discussing the ways in which we can use new and emerging technologies to drive innovation to scale businesses. I shared some of the challenges I've faced as a fashion entrepreneur and the lessons I've learned along the way, hoping to provide some valuable insights for the audience.

It was truly inspiring to see so many talented and ambitious young business leaders in attendance. From tech startups to social enterprises, the diversity of ideas and industries represented at the event was truly impressive.
