Founder Teniade Macaulay launched her namesake brand in October 2023 after more than two decades working in the technology sector. Fashion, however, had always been the long-held passion waiting for its moment.

The brand represents that transition — a move toward purpose-driven creativity. Drawing on her analytical background and lifelong love of textiles, Teniade built a label focused on thoughtful design, sustainability and lasting quality.

Slow Fashion, Made in Africa

Rejecting mass production, Teniade Macaulay produces garments in limited batches across Africa, reinforcing a commitment to slow fashion and responsible creation. Each piece is carefully crafted, allowing space for artisanal quality and reducing unnecessary waste.

The brand’s production journey continues to evolve, with a new chapter of small-batch manufacturing now beginning in Accra, strengthening its connection to West Africa’s vibrant creative ecosystem.
