X.HIBIT: NOVEMBER EDIT

Updated: 3 days ago

Five brands. Five stories. One Elle Lokko.

Before the racks filled with new stories, the space was quiet.

Cleared out. Mopped. Reset.

It’s something of a ritual here — a moment of pause before each new beginning. We make room. We prepare. We welcome.

This November, Elle Lokko opens its doors (and its racks) to four extraordinary Ghanaian brands — each distinct in vision, yet connected by their craftsmanship, their clarity, and their courage to create differently. Together with our permanent resident, Threaded Tribes, they form the inaugural chapter of our new in-store feature series: X.HIBIT.

WHAT IS X.HIBIT?

Every month, Elle Lokko dedicates its premium racks to a selection of standout brands whose work deserves a moment in the spotlight — on the floor and on our in-store digital screen.

Think of it as a living gallery of Ghanaian (and African) design excellence — tactile, visible, and within reach.

Each rack is a stage. Each collection, a conversation.

🌺 AMARGARET — Celebrating Her

A love letter written in fabric and form.

Founded by Ama Arhin to honour her mother, Margaret, Amargaret celebrates bold femininity and the beauty of heritage.

Each piece tells the story of a woman who knows her worth — sophisticated, self-possessed, and entirely her own.

On display: November 2025, Elle Lokko.

Essence: Refined womanhood with a contemporary edge.

🖤 ANU — Self Discovery

In an era where the internet demands smiles, ANU offers honesty.

Founded by a young designer, Samuel Inyang, who uses fashion as therapy, ANU explores the full spectrum of self — softness, darkness, messiness, and all.

His debut collection, Self Discovery, uses black and white to reflect balance — joy and sorrow, light and shadow.

Each piece is a quiet rebellion against the pressure to perform happiness.

On display: November 2025, Elle Lokko.

Palette: Black leather, white cotton, and emotion.

🧵 KAYADUA — Tradition Reimagined

Meticulously handcrafted. Intentionally modern.

KAYADUA stands at the intersection of Ghanaian heritage and forward design.

Founder Henrietta Eyiwaa Agyekumhene continues to prove that traditional craftsmanship and modern identity can coexist beautifully. Her pieces — woven, beaded, embroidered — carry both weight and grace.

A portion of proceeds supports women’s empowerment projects across Ghana.

On display: November 2025, Elle Lokko.

Keywords: Craft. Confidence. Continuity.

🍦 PALMWINE IceCREAM — Sustainable Blends

PALMWINE IceCREAM is what happens when sustainability meets play.

The label founded by designer Kusi Kubi, combines unexpected textures, feelings, and aesthetics — creating pieces that shouldn’t work together but somehow do.

Rooted in craftsmanship and Ghanaian sensibility, the brand redefines what “sustainable” can look and feel like: unexpected, tactile, and joyfully experimental.

On display: November 2025, Elle Lokko.

Mood: Effortless balance between local and global cool.

🪡 THREADED TRIBES — The Constant

Threaded Tribes has a permanent home at Elle Lokko — a testament to the brand’s ethos of rooted evolution.

Known for its sustainable luxury and commitment to traditional African textiles, the brand continues to weave history into modern silhouettes.

It’s not just fashion — it’s legacy in motion.

Always on display: Elle Lokko.

Materials: Bògòlanfini, Indigo, Fugu, Baulé, Korhogo, Kente.

A LIVING SHOWCASE

The X.HIBIT: November Edit is more than a display.

It’s an ongoing conversation between creativity, space, and care — a reminder that curation is as much about people as it is about products.

Each rack holds a story. Each visit reveals a new layer.

Come see it for yourself.

All month long at Elle Lokko.
